The Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) is the nationally recognised qualification needed to apply for the CSCS Green Labourer Card. The qualification exam requires a Windows or Mac computer (not mobile, tablet or Chromebook), a working webcam and microphone, and an up-to-date browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox. All other software and browser tabs must be closed during the exam.

The course modules can be accessed on any device including mobile and tablet. However the final proctored exam must be completed on a desktop or laptop computer.
How it works
How to get a CSCS card in London
1.

Pass the online qualification exam
The exam is proctored online and requires a Windows or Mac computer with a working webcam and microphone. The exam is included as part of this course. An 80% pass mark is required, and certificates are issued within 7-10 business days.
3.
Book and take the CITB HS&E Test in London
To apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card in London, you'll need to complete the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) course and pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test at an approved Pearson VUE test centre.
4.
Apply for your CSCS Green Card
Once you hold both your Level 1 certificate and your CITB test pass, you can apply directly for your CSCS Green Card.
